Letraset + letratone, photocopier, sticker film,, pen and ink, cut and paste, rules. Each row represents 5 images out of a series of 20 created using the idea of the stability of the background shape ie: the square and the movement of the pieces iterating from one image to the next with the outline. A series of pieces (bits) was created using various materials and processes then cut up and composed onto an A5 and scanned. The pieces could then be pulled apart and recomposed again and scanned. Each image then becomes the predecessor and successor in the cyclical iterative process. Row three is currently in production as a small A5 publication where a QR code will show the series animating.
