Sticker film, letraset and letratone, photocopier and photocopier toner as a raw material. Type was set using Illustrator and positioned onto an A4 document and photocopied onto sheets of drafting film. Drafting film has a tolerance that allows the photocopy toner to be scratched off using a scalpel which creates the opacity effects in the letters. Details were added in using photocopied sheets of letraset and letratone. The idea was to create a handmade textural alphabet as single letters that could be used to construct words in future designs and compositional work.
